What is your opinion on doing MBBS from abroad?

Assuming you are an Indian medical aspirant. No issue, these days, a great number of medical aspirants are planning to do MBBS abroad. They are moving to many different countries to study medicine because of two major reasons – the first reason is – high-quality education, and the second reason is – affordable MBBS course fees.

It can be said without any shred of a doubt that pursuing MBBS in India is a rat race, where millions or more students are sitting for NEET every year, but only a fraction of them can secure MBBS seats in government medical schools, where the fees are nominal for sure. But what would they do if they didn’t score well enough in NEET and couldn’t secure seats in government medical colleges? There could be two options.

Option one – they can pursue MBBS abroad.

Option two – they can study medicine in private medical schools in India.

Assuming that you have chosen option no two first then you must invest a hell of a lot of money for your MBBS fees, including capitation or donation fees. Having a question in mind, why?

Well, you must know that private medical schools in India are notoriously popular for charging exorbitantly high tuition fees that most of Indian middle-class parents can’t afford, which is why many students give up their dreams of becoming doctors.

Now, if you are thinking the same, then we must tell you that there is a good option for studying medicine, and that is MBBS abroad.

In terms of quality of medical education, infrastructure, clinical training, food, accommodation, and admission process all far better than private medical schools in India. Studying MBBS in Russia, Georgia, Bangladesh, Philippines, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Nepal, to name a few, are the most sought-after these days for several reasons. Let’s see why you should study medicine abroad rather than pursuing it in private medical colleges in India.

  • High-quality medical education

  • Up-to-date curriculum

  • Excellent clinical training

  • Global Exposure

  • Globally recognised degree

  • Safe environment

  • Excellent faculty

  • Bespoke student support service

  • Hassle-free admission process

And, one of the most important things is abroad MBBS fees are much lower than private medical schools in India. For example, if you are pursuing MBBS in India, then you have to invest 80 lakh INR for the total course, whereas, studying MBBS in Georgia Bangladesh, or Russia, you will have to invest 25 lakh for the complete course. Though the tuition fees may vary from University to University, it would not be more than 40 lakh for sure.

So the main question is catered here – what is the opinion on doing MBBS from abroad? Our opinion is to go for MBBS abroad. It is no doubt better than studying medicine in private medical schools in India for many different reasons. You will be able to open up an international medical career.

Yes, if you want to return to India to practise medicine, you can, but then you will have to clear the FMGE/NEXT exam conducted by the Medical Council of India, which is presently known as the National Medical Commission.
